Hopefully a strong pre season to get strength and confidence back.
Could again be a major driving force off the half back line.Comment

Simply has to be applauded for having a go at something new.
The fact he got back and played was a fantastic achievement.
Hopefully no with some rest and a preseason under him he can be the player he was. Would love to see Esky ,Moose and Tadgh running from defence.Est 1874

He showed that he still has a promising future with some solid games, especially his performance against WCE @ Subi. In time, he will regain the confidence to step up a level or 2."In some ways we?re less predictable to ourselves and sometimes that can be detrimental because we don?t really know where we?re going" - P.RoosComment

Terrible year..... 3/10.
Reminded me of McVeigh in 2007. But can be forgiven considering his injuries.
Hope he does a McVeigh in 2008 next year!Comment

5/10
He made a comeback from a torn ACL in Round 8 instead of missing the whole season thanks to a synthetic ligament. He did however miss 5 consecutive weeks with a calf injury and only played 11 games for the year.
Given the severity of his knee injury and the risk of reinjury, he did alright with the limited time he was given on the field. As expected, his possession rate was down from last year (avg. 14.3 possessions in 2008 vs. 20.9 in 2007), as well as marks (4.8 vs. 6.5) and tackles (1.7 vs. 2.6).
He was back to his best against West Coast (28 disposals, 12 marks, 2 goals) and Brisbane (27 disposals, 8 marks, 1 goal, 3 tackles) but most his games were ordinary at best. The score may be considered generous but he had limited time on the field because of 2 injuries. He did however at times produce the run from the backline the Swans desperately needed and could still kick long and accurately on the left foot.
An injury free season will bring him back to his 2007 form and maybe the Swans might be damaging in 2009.I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!! :adore

Not 100% sure his knee is ok, but hoping so.
Didn't look fit all year.
Amazing effort to come back, but if it had been anyone else he would have been dropped regularly as he struggled to have an impact other than 2-3 games.
3."As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.Comment

4/10 from me.
During the last few games he was starting to show glimpses of his old self.
Looking forward to seeing him after preseason.Comment
