It was a joke that Mumford tackled him like that. As soon as I saw it, I said he's gone given what the MRP has been handing out penalties for of late

Reprimand for O'Keefe and fine for Malceski.

Seaby will be pleased, at least...

              Always going to happen.

The AFL has made it very clear now, if you tackle and pin both arms then you can't turn a player and allow their head to hit the ground.

It did and therefore he was always going to be suspended for it.

If I were O'Keefe I would challenge it and take my chances, we are going to lose on Sat anyway might as well not have the carry over points.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

It's interesting, I really thought it was a pretty nothing thing and a free kick was sufficient. The points they've given it really makes it seem like they've gone "we'll make it so you won't want to bother questioning us".

He has form for this type of tackle and the AFL have shown they will not tolerate it. He needs to learn not to do it and get it out of his game

True, I guess. I didn't think it was really a sling, more a very heavy tackle with pinned arms. But as soon as heads go into the ground, you're in trouble, especially when it does lead to concussion.

                          The game's going soft.
