On SEN this morning Anthony Hudson said that he had heard from a good source that the Swans will be making a lucrative bid for Dale Thomas' services at the end of the season....

Anthony Hudson has been contemplating his belly button fluff too much. He will be out of a job with 10 so he is probably trying to flog some pathetic media hype. Such a knucklehead.
Biggest load of crap I have ever heard. If he leaves collingwood, it would be for the money at GWS.
Hudson got his Sydney teams confused.
Throw it off the Swans thread please. In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.Comment

We couldn't trade Mitchell - not until the following year. But realistically it would cost at least 2 of our most promising young players - ie Reid, Hanners and Rohan. And for them, the Pies would still have to accept "potential" over known star quality.Comment

We could give them Jesse.
Huddo is indulging in a bit of media splatter. In other words, he got it wrong. It would be GWS. I wonder if he knows there is another team in Sydney yet. Perhaps we should write him a note.
Mind you, having Daisy on board wouldn't actually annoy me.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I imagine Collingwood will be struggling with the Cap given their recent success soon.
Could very well be. Daisy will be laughing all the way to the bank.Comment

He's a great player, I'd love to get him to the Swans. I can't see it happening, although I can see him in Sydney next year.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I think it is hilarious. It used to be that whenever someone's contract was coming up for negotiation then it was put in the media that Sydney were talking to them (you remember that big, nasty club from the north who had such a huge salary cap that they could poach any player they chose...). What I cant understand is why, with GWS cashed up and shopping, people are still using the Swans for leverage in their negotiations? Are they unimaginative or just lazy?Comment
