VFL Round 20 Queanbeyan Tigers v Sydney Swans Reserves

Your humble correspondent will be heading down to Dairy Farmers Oval on Sunday to see our future Swans stars in action.

    Points of Interest:

-The return of LJ and Pyke from Injury.

-Jed Lamb and Gary Rohan's second hit out after injury.

-Will Jesse build on the good work from last week.

-How will Mal go after being dropped from the seniors.

-Will guys like Murphy, Brain,Otten and McKaigue continue to impress.

-Will Big Al be able to find Queanbeyan.

The reserves should win this comfortably but the Tigers lift on their home ground so I'm predicting
    a fairly physical clash.

    Swans by 64

If anyone sees the team list before me could they post it please. Cheers

    Team released:

    B: J.Lynch, C.McKaigue, S.Wray
    HB: C.Heath, L.Johnston, G.Rohan
    C: J.Lamb, D.McNeil, E.Kruger
    HF: J.Moore, M.Spangher, N.Gordon
    F: J.Potter, J.White, D.Robinson
    R: M.Seaby, B.Guthrie, N.Malceski
    I/C: M.Pyke, T.Dennis-Lane, T.Wales, A.Moody, M.Otten, P.Bevan

Pyke and LJ back! Murphy out! Pretty clear indication that if McVeigh plays, TDL is back in the reserves.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

      Thanks BSA5.

Wonder if Kane's injured. Would have thought he'd get a game in front of Moody.

      Strong looking side though.

ah huh!!! women and porn!!! - the ressies are just a smoke screen for a days retail therapy at Fyshwick!!!

It will be interesting to see how Mal goes - maybe its the kick in the botty he needs to get back to his best.

I hope that Rohan has a blinder - and wil be elevated to seniors sooner, I think he would be terrific now.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Queenbeyan? Isn't that somewhere in Queensland Al? Good luck Al & good calling Sunday I shall be monitoring the news as it comes in and hopefully you will be calling a Swans win over Queenbeyan. If TDL was coming out of the A's I would have liked to see Nipper in as well as Meredith.

I hope Cambell Heath has a cracker, I like the kid for some reason and hope he finds a spot in the seniors in the not too distant future.

I can send you a Flying High DVD which has instructions on how to fix this.

I'm clean out of Fyshwick jokes but, like Wardy I'm hoping Rohan really turns it on tomorrow. The one player who might be able to do some damage in the seniors.

Thanks for the preview Big Al. Who needs Ugg?

I'd love to see Gaz get more run out of the middle. That last quarter against West Coast showed the more he got his hands on the ball the more something great was about to happen. I suppose I should be more patient but can't wait till he gets more involved in games. Off HB in the Seniors he hasn't got involved enough.

                          Funny you should say that:

Rohan ready for run home - Official AFL Website of the Sydney Swans Football Club
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Big Al, the usual for me thnks. Try to bargain a bit better this time.

Wardy, it's the Club's fault for organising the game down there, not ours.

Hopefully, Jesse will get some big ones and the teams hard all day.

No soft appearances with the finals looming.
