Bottom line, if we can't beat Brisbane, regardless of the pressure etc., we have no place being in the finals anyway.

That's what happens when you synchronise your brains staring at the gatorade stand simultaneously.

I guess "hoping they beat a finals rival" is the closest thing to love the Roos can expect, eh?

Norf is just the lesser of 2 evils and it also suits our home final aspirations. That's all.

Any result that has that pathetic excuse for a football club called St Kilda missing the finals, I am there front and centre as head cheerleader.

On that basis, I'm all for a North win, and by lots, followed by a Carlton win.

Homebush with all it's faults is still a greater advantage than any interstate venue.

    V Essendon at Homebush
    V Carlton at Docklands

    I know which I prefer.

ANZ against anyone is a much better proposition than Etihad against anyone...

It means we get to go to the game. Atmospheres at home finals is always electric, even in the dark bowels of ANZ.

I'm mean spirited and would love the Aints to miss finals, whining captain, whining supporters who all feel they have a god-given right to be successful despite all the evidence to the contrary.

I think we'll go closer to the Cats than many expect. But I also look how the Brions got within about 10 points of the Pies and don't think they'll be easybeats as they are finally coming good.
