Norf is just the lesser of 2 evils and it also suits our home final aspirations. That's all.Last edited by Big Al; 26 August 2011, 08:04 AM.Leave a comment:

Cannot believe the love for North on this thread!! I have been waiting 4 years for it! Good luck for the last two rounds.Leave a comment:

Any result that has that pathetic excuse for a football club called St Kilda missing the finals, I am there front and centre as head cheerleader.
On that basis, I'm all for a North win, and by lots, followed by a Carlton win.Leave a comment:

Homebush with all it's faults is still a greater advantage than any interstate venue.True, although they might trouble us, they played quite well against collingwood and our record at the SCG this year has been far from impressive. It would be better going into this game with a finals spot wrapped up IMO, afterall is ANZ stadium that much of an advantage for us anyway should we all be wanting for a home final?
V Essendon at Homebush
V Carlton at Docklands
I know which I prefer.Leave a comment:

ANZ against anyone is a much better proposition than Etihad against anyone...Leave a comment:

It means we get to go to the game. Atmospheres at home finals is always electric, even in the dark bowels of ANZ.True, although they might trouble us, they played quite well against collingwood and our record at the SCG this year has been far from impressive. I'm mean spirited and would love the Aints to miss finals, whining captain, whining supporters who all feel they have a god-given right to be successful despite all the evidence to the contrary.
I think we'll go closer to the Cats than many expect. But I also look how the Brions got within about 10 points of the Pies and don't think they'll be easybeats as they are finally coming good.Leave a comment:
