    Jack

Is it just me, or has Jack not been his productive and influential self since his "2" ankle injuries??

I'm hoping is up for a big finals series.

He has been going about his business in a very quiet and almost invisible way. Hoping he will show some of the 2010 form tomorrow night.

My impression (can't quote stats etc) is that he has been gradually regaining confidence and condition. I think he's the sort who won't hold back when the finals heat is on.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

He doesn't seem to have that "burst" factor at the moment.

I have wondered this myself, but after making a note to watch what he was doing during my replay indulgences, I find him as first officer in amongst our organising generals. He is doing important stuff but its not obvious stuff. He is not an extremely quick player, and with his ankles it would probably not be wise at this point.

Should be pointed out however that even the commentators noted that he has great core strength in his ability to stay on his feet under pressure. He is more of a "where did that come from" player just now not as much as a burst player as he was last year. But wait and see for 2012. Sorry for the strangled English

He's a lot more closely tagged than he was in the past - he's doing enough but hopefully he'll go to another level during this finals series - four big games would be good.

Didn't Jack approach the Swans mid last season asking for a contract extension so that he was out of the GWS reach?

Yes he is, isn't he? I would've had him as one of our fastest.

Not just coming back from ankles; he is pretty darned good, but not quite last year's level of greyhound. I am not ruling him out for the future, I am just talking about the last say 4 games...now saying that I am fairly sure he will prove me almost incorrect (I am never actually "wrong").......

Be careful, we want to stay on his good side, when they are king.
