What has Eade delivered? Dick all. Did nothing with the Dogs. He has left the Dogs in as bad a position as when he took over, if not worse, and to describe them as ever being anything near "a powerhouse who would go painfully close" is frankly ridiculous. They have never looked the least bit threatening for a GF with Eade at the helm. Whenever they made a PF they were always the fourth best team.

I don't even have an opinion of Eade based on his Swans days. That was before my time. But watching him at the Dogs, I've never been impressed. They have not improved under Eade. He made them a top 4 side for a while, but not a Premiership side.

You are kidding right? They lost the 2009 preliminary final by 7 points and had more scoring shots and were within 20 points of Geelong in 08 and similiar against the Saints last year.

Unless you think Eade was coaching a Brisbane circa 2003 playing roster, then how he was a failure at the Dogs is beyond me, but whatever, your opinion on him seems pretty set and you are entitled to it.

This could be said of both posters in this particular debate. Both are rabidly hanging on the the "fact" that they are right and the other is wrong. I have no particluar opinion on the debate but was watching the dynamics with some interest.
