    TLM Count - Round 10-11

Round 10 v North Melbourne, Docklands

Brownlow Medal 3:Tadhg Kennelly (SY) 2:Andrew Swallow (NM) 1:Scott Thompson (NM)

Except for some awful kicking at goal the Roos could have had a very handy lead at qtr time, as the swans struggled to get the ball into their forward line. more inaccuracy allowed the swans to erode the Roos lead to trail by 2 points at half time. The next half was almost goal for goal and point for point. Ben Mcglynn kicked what would be the sealer with plenty of time on the clock. Sheer desperation from the swans saw them win by a mere point.
Lewis Johnston debuted and kick a huge goal.

3 goals to McGlynn, and 2 to Goodes.Tadhg Kennelly led the disposal count.

    5-3-1

Round 11 v Brisbane Lions, GABBA

Brownlow Medal 3:Jude Bolton (SY) 2: Dan Hannebery (SY) 1:Martin Mattner (SY)

Trent Dennis-Lane makes his 2011 debut with an exciting start, but it was Lewis Roberts-Thomson who was the surprise packet up forward. With a 7 goal to one blitz in the first qtr the Swans could do no wrong. The Lions were completely outclassed. The swans quickly set about doubling their score by half time. Only a late goal to Retzlaff saved the lions from a goalless qtr. Brisbane outscored the swans in the 2nd half, but were never a threat.

Swans by 65. 3 goals to LRT, and Jude Bolton had 35 touches.

    6-3-1.

Hanners gets 2 brownlow votes in the Brions game but nothing in the TLM. Who had their eyes painted on that day. The Umpires or the RWO faithful??
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
