Always liked Shannon Grant but wasn't here long enough. Robbie Ahmat kicked one of the best goals ever at the SCG but didn't play enough of this type of football.

My vote goes to Mal just ahead of Henwood.

He was a ripper Glenelg player and played in our 1985-86 premierships. I loved him at CHB for the Swanies too he was a sensational no holds barred footballer. He had incredible courage and great skill. In the end he was plagued by injuries.

Should actually thank South Fremantle for him as that is where he came from originally.

Ackerley followed by Henwood. Although Malceski could eventually surpass them both.

Can't have Ackerley. One of the big mouths behind the scenes to push the club to Sydney. Took the money and skulked off back to North after a year or 2. Relegated to the back pocket because he was a soft rooster anywhere else.

Ian Thomson for mine. CHF left footer who could pull out a ripper game. In a good team he would have been a star.
