From what I have read wasn't that tally kicked in about 17 matches?

        21.

He kicked 138 in 18 matches and 12 in 3 finals. The 15 he kicked against Essendon included 8 kicked within a 10min period of the match.

Must have been some player to watch.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Pratt, Walsh, Roberts, Williams, Mitchell and Woodman.

On Walsh; we were devastated when he returned to Richmond. He was a seriously good footballer who IIRC played on the opposite HBF to John Rantall or was it John Pitura. Was it Ian Stewart he didn't get on with or was it one of the "I am" Directors of the time. Roberts was a top full forward and Brian Woodman was a tough utility who rarely played a bad game. He was from Springvale and after his career went back and captain/coached them.

How quickly we forgot Peter Filandia. Eades lovechild who could put the bite on the opposition.

Would have to win if this was judged on notoriety.

              1. Bob Pratt, 2. Barry Mitchell, 3. Paul Williams, 4. Brian Woodman, 5. John Roberts, Mitchell is ahead of Williams because he did it for longer in the red and white, but Bob Pratt was one of the original 12 AFL Legends named by the VFL/AFL so his status has to be no1 .

...........................although we should acknowledge the great Hec Mckay,Premiership full-back of 1933,played 152 games and was a regular star in finals according to AFL records. He played between 1926-1935 so he was way before my time.Go the Mighty Bloods in 2012.
