    Youngsters and "Oldstars"

Apart from our forward structure I love the swannys team at the moment. We have such a good mix of young and old and they compliment eachother really well. AJ, Rohan, Jetta, Kennedy, Hannebery, Reid, Mitchell, Gordon, and hopefully Lockyer comes along really well. Our transition from the old heads such as Bolton, Goodesy, ROK, Malceski, Shaw, Mcveigh to our younger guns is always a seemless transition with the swannies and we have set our selves up for the next generation of bloods. Still feel we need to lock in a key forward prospect in the draft and a young ruckman but the way we have recruited which is a credit to the recruiters and the coaching staff have including our youngsters and blended them in with the old stars and we look very strong so far in this season even if its only been 2 games
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

You also forgot Armstrong, Harry and Lambchop. Yes we are looking good and your point about a new young ruck to develop is really important. Seabs and Pyke are both 28 so we need to make a ruckman a priority pick in the next draft.
Bolts, Marty, Ryano and Goodsie are nearing the end of their careers so we are developing a new breed of blood. Teddy and LRT are the next line who retirement is not that far away. So we are developing a new breed and soon will also need to look for tall backs as well as a ruck. I think the tall forward problem is solved if we can get Spang back to fitness and we will have him for quite a while the same as Sammy
