    Parker's Courage

For me,the star of the last two rounds has been Parker playing with a fracture of the jaw. This kid is amazing. He would have had every right to sit in the sidelines until his jaw mended but has put himself in the roughest areas fearlessly.I can only imagine how he feels when the pain killers wear off. This is an injury that hurts you 24/7.Going to the toilet, eating ,laughing all hurt!Even turning over in bed when asleep can wake you in pain.Few people woulld have the mental and physical toughness of this kid who is an absolute "find" for us and typifies what being a Sydney Swans player is all about.Him and Kizza are a magic combo with Kennedy that makes our cetre work hum!!

    Couldn't agree more!!

I said in the match day thread that I have to pinch myself every time I watch him play because he's still only a kid and he's playing like a seasoned veteran.

I too cracked a jaw many years ago (I viciously headbutted this blokes fist) and it bloody hurts I can tell you so my hats off to you Parks.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Yep, as I said in the stats thread, seems to have been let off the leash in the last games.
Will be interesting to see how he goes against the Hawks battle hardened mids.

And for once, he doesn't seem to be flying under the radar like so many Swans before him.

Getting rave reviews, mentioned almost nightly on the Fox talk shows. Robbo, Lynch and Dunstall among others have developed man crushes on him. Fortunately he seems to be the type who won't get ahead of himself and will just keep putting his head over the footy.

Yep, always lead with the face. Parks must have them big steel ones that clank together. We'll possibly see a bit more rotation with ROK and Jude going into the middle a bit more as the season wears on. I was kinda expecting it already, but soesn't seem to be happening, I suppose Parks and JPK have been doing such a good job winning the clearances no need to chamge anything yet
