    Half time meet up?

Anyone interested in catching up at half time this arvo?

I'm guessing there will be plenty of Swans supporters at the city end. So somewhere around there?

Need to be more specific for someone like me gs14. We will be sitting somewhere near Gate 3 me thinks. If the meeting point is not too distant from there I would be happy to leave my gang for a while. I'm still on the injury list!

As it turned out, with the MCG closing the half full car park an hour and a half before the game, I spent half time walking to my car to move it from the one hour parking spot I was able to find.

I got to the corner of Clarendon and Wellington parade at about 4pm, when they shut the gates, and made me drive around to Punt Rd, and battle to get in that car park. Made it to my seat just on 4:40.

I parked up near where the Mercy hospital used to be, got into the ground halfway through the first qrtr. Tried to leave feedback on the MCG site about my experience and it won't allow me to. Pretty much sums up how the MCC feel about normal patrons.

I drove past several spots around there and Wellington ST.
              Regretted not parking there.

Why does the car park close so long before the game? Surely it wasn't full?

Talking to an parking attendant it was due to the rain over that last three weeks and damage to the grass so the laid turf and wouldn't let anyone park on it. He said to leave feedback on the MCG website to complain but the website won't allow negative feedback.

I parked near the Vaucluse Hotel in Richmond. Popped in for a refreshment before the game, and wish I had've stayed.
