10th Most powerful person in the game

According to this article from Fairfax hack Konrad Marshall, it's our Goodsey.

Interesting read although there seems to be a lot of opinion and less hard methodology for mine.

Most "powerful" player. Dunno if I'd go this far (Luke Ball, president of the AFLPA?), but it's certainly true that Goodesy will be able to write his own ticket after his career is over. Can do anything he wants.

I prefer your spelling of "Goodesy".

A weird list from the Swans POV. Goodesy is a natural leader but is he way more influential than Roos (49th?), Horse (not listed) and Colless (not listed)?

You'd think that Andy D, for instance, would take the call of our coach or chairman ahead of our co-captain.

Oh well. Back to the footy.

Wow, some serious in house/media brown nosing in that article. Konrad Marshall is genuinely attempting to go places fast.

I love the fact that neither Dennis nor Bwooce got a gig and that Roos did.

Not surprised to see Adam on deck. He is a statesman of the game, and people - big people - listen to him. That I think is the point of where he sits on the list. His is a voice to be reckoned with, even though it is a quiet voice.

We have brought him up well, haven't we.
