Poor Tommy just couldn't get into the game.

Need to run a lot harder. The Dogs played really well last night.

He only started training last Thursday so I doubt it.

Makes you wonder if it would have made a difference today, doesn't it.

The thing is with TDL is that he runs and leads and takes defenders and spreads the play out. He creates options. He is unpredictable for defenders. We are so predictable without that. Hello, Horse?

Good call Nich re TDL - leave him inside 60m at your peril - each time her plays in that forward line it seems to open up with his leading - alternatively if he is not on he takes defenders out of that zone.

Would White have done worse than Tommy tonight ? I feel sorry for White in that he has to go out an fill multiple roles whenever he gets his opportunity.. Then he gets dropped the next week even when he has an acceptable game.. Let him play as just a forward and see how he goes.. I was thinking how well he started as a forward then tapered off.. Rather like Reid is doing now....

AJ injured, Armstrong to get a go
Walsh not ready, TDL to start
a midfielder to start as sub, someone who looked tired, pick one of the many
You can't argue with a sick mind - Joe Walsh

for me we need to get our forward pressure right more then anything

if we can tackle more then any other team inside our 50m area we will improve and with players like TDL, Jetta, McGlynn, Parker sniffing around a turnover we are looking good !

AJ out, LRT out, Walsh out.
Armstrong in, White in, Morton in

Seems fair for Walsh to be dropped after not doing anything last night, and Reid hasn't done anything for the last month but stays. Oh but I forgot he offers so much to the forward line with all his potential, especially when he shows off his great marking skills at half back.

Pick a team who offers effort no matter what their form is. There were multiple calls for Ben McGlynn to be dropped the last couple of weeks because he 'does nothing', but at least he go's and go's again for the whole @@@@ing game.

And ignoring my bitterness about Reid, why should Walsh be the one to get the drop when the midfielders 'efforts' to kick in to the forward line were beyond pathetic. Seems to me if we're playing badly, we will continue to play badly for the entire game because they head their heads down and the majority give up fight.

Spangher in for someone, probably unfortunate Walsh.
                          Armstrong in for AJ
Mummy in if he's fit, LRT out.

Top 5 goal kicker list makes interesting reading. No sign of Reid.

                            In: Armstrong, Morton, Mummy, Cunningham
                            Out: Malceski, AJ, Pyke, Bird

Walsh to be back up ruck, LRT to the backline, with him and Grundy taking the bigger forwards. Richards to be the utility to play on all sizes.

We don't appear to have a lot of options at the moment. They keep naming the same 3 on the bench.

Spangher in if he is right and Armstrong for the marshmellow.
