    Teddy

Maybe this doesn't deserve it's own thread, but hey I don't care.

Just want to say that Teddy is simply a legend. He is an absolute rock at full back and gives his all week in, week out.

I love having the bloke play for us and he makes watching footy that much more enjoyable.

One of my favourite Swans of all time.

Yep, started a bit nervously, but has really stepped up this year to be an outstanding defender.

Knowing he's down there gives me hope (even confidence) every time there's a long ball coming into our back line. I was amazed by how good our all our defenders were in one-on-one situations last night. And the support and cover was amazing.

Agree AA form, regularly in the top 5 players on the ground, if backmen got brownlow votes, yeah I know sometimes they do, but they are hard done by

I think Ted now has what I call "Dunks Status". Its a bit less stressful knowing he is down back. Mind you, his disposal and run is somewhat better than Dunks, but its the "safety" factor I am referring to.

Teddy was amazing last night. He is rock solid, gets a fist to every ball that comes in. An absolute star.

Was watching one of the AFL shows on TV at the moment (can't remember which one) and they showed a "mid year" All Australian team. No surprises for me that both Teddy and Jets were in that team.
Teddy's just such a reliable defender. Deserves all the plaudits that he gets.
Did I hear Teddy say last night that he's now linked up with a Sydney girl!

I wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't make it to the AA team, but by gee if I was picking a player to play the role he does for our team from anyone in the AFL, I'd pick Teddy first every time. He has become Mr Dependable down back for us!

I mwas listening to "The Inquisition" on ABC radio on my way back from Warrnambool this afternoon, Stan Alves had Ted in his top 3 tall defenders and Jetta in his top 3 small forwards.
