Can see this being merged - henced destroying the reason for both threads in the first place.
Hopefully at the least it will make it clear to the crusaders who infest this board that no one hates LRT.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.
I don't like LRT ... not being in the team. With the cattle and game plan we have at the moment, it is pretty simple - we are better with him in than out. And he is as brave as they come.
I don't like LRT ... 's hair style but I want in my 21. I am also happy for Horse to select his role each week. I think we might see him down back this week standing Darling, Hill or the resting ruck man.
You can't dislike him. Impossible. Was an inspiration of someone starring against all odds.
As above, he's a great spoiler. A mini wrecking ball, hard at the ball, occasionally takes a mark and kicks the ball.
People say he is important to the team structure. I think these days its mostly as mascot value. A link to the old bloods fever!
Drop him and he'd shrivel up in the 2's, maybe the team would too, could he come back better?
A few years back, a lady I worked with was getting married. She was a cousin or something of LRT. I was at her enagement party and there were lots of attractive women in attendance. At some point, LRT walks in and within a couple of minutes, at least a dozen of the ladies had flocked to him. He only stayed a short time and when he left, quite a few of them followed. When I mentioned this to a couple of the women that hadn't deserted me during all this, they assured me LRT was very desirable ... something to do with being tall, alpha-male, a bit wild looking. So based on my experience, I wouldn't want to be up against him trying to hook up in a bar.
As a player, I'm defintiely in the "I ike LRT"camp. Always puts in for the team, great defender, doing exactly what he is being asked to do by the coach in his current forward role. IMO, it's unfair to even have a thread with this title. Don't aim at LRT when the criticism should really be aimed at the coaches if you're not happy with his performance as a forward.
CIA Agent to Policeman: "Have you ever had anti-terrorist training?"
Policeman: "Yes, I was married once."
