Yep, grand finals aren't meant to be easy to get to, let alone win. We were good enough to beat the Pies a few weeks ago, notwithstanding the fact we didn't. We need a four quarter, hard-nosed, tackling frenzy from our mids and the game can be won.

Sounds cliche but how far we go really is in the hands of the players. I'm sure they'll be hungry to get one back over Collingwood for such a close loss the last time they played. Outwardly it appears the club has taken a lot of confidence from the very competitive performances against both Collingwood and Hawthorn, and to overcome both would definitely shut the naysayers up and a loss to either would hopefully inspire the boys for next season!

As long as there are no passengers, I think we really stand a good chance this year. Here's hoping!

you just have to wonder some times don't you when the simple answer is that Sydney finished above Collingwood and won the right to host a prelim - so suck it in pies if the shoe was on the other foot you wouldn't give a toss so shut it. It has been explained time and time again about sharing ANZ with the NRL and they get preference. Anne did you feel like ringing up and telling them all to grow a set and get on with it?
