    Game Day!

    Bring it on!

Are you wearing your red and white around town today? I'm a bit superstitious and won't wear the bloods colors until GF week. It worked in 05, not so much n 06. What are your game day superstitions?

I'm off to the Napoleon exhibition and hope that tonight, Collingwood meet their Waterloo.
I'll wear the red and white shirt.

Wearing the colours to work mostly because I am leaving early straight for a bus to Sydney.

I've been wearing my cap whenever I'm out this week - and wore a Swans tie to a business lunch yesterday. But my problem is the 2005 Premiership scarf. I wore it a bit in 2006 and we invariably lost. So I've stopped. When can I ever wear it again? Maybe when it's with a 2012 Premiership scarf?

It was supposed to be really warm today in Sydney, but there's no sign of that yet. Hope the rain stays away.

The forecast yesterday was early clouds clearing. But now it's 40% chance of rain and -

Partly cloudy. The chance of light showers. Winds west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h freshening to 25 to 35 km/h in the afternoon before shifting to south to southwesterly in the evening.

I have my Swannies Club tie on, and my lucky red underpants as well!

I'm feeling bloody nervous about tonight, but strangely calm at the same time.

I think I had a sign that tonight is the time the streak will end. Last night I broke a key ring, a key ring that I got as part of our farewell gift from school in 2005 - at about this time of year in 2005 (almost 7 years to the day I believe!). It finally, after years of being battered around broke and is unrepairable. All things must come to an end.... including the Pies streak!

There is no way at all I will get anything productive done at work today! can't wait till 2pm rolls around and I can get out of here, then have the long drive to psych up. COME ON YOU BLOODS - SHOW 'EM YOUR MIGHT!!!

                    #BELIEVE - SWANS 2012!!!

I have my scarf on and the other day I rustled out a swans car flag I got at Etihad last year.

so excited for this game. Still terribly nervous though.

I've got my 2011 members cap at work - need to keep my 2012 members hat fresh for tonight's game. Funny mix of nervous and calm - we should do it, and do it well. Should is a funny word though. I just need to keep reminding myself that however nervous or excited I feel through the day will have no bearing on what actually happens. Don't think it's working so far.....

I've been cycling through my caps this week except for 2012, which, like you, I have ready for tonight. Funny thing is I've never worn the 2012 cap.

Don't wear caps at all really. Except for this week, and tonight, and definitely next week!!
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector
