He can also bang in at scrimmages too and get the ball out to the outside players and the same goes for Mummy. The side will stay the same. It might be wet but it won't pour according to BOM 'Scattered thundery showers', the weather this time of year is always variable so could do anything. We shouldn't worry about the weather too much we are a good side in any weather.
Forecast is for snow down to 600metres. Mike should feel right at home!!
We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!

Just because it 'showers' doesn't mean the rain won't be heavy. It could absolutely belt down for 5 - 30 or so minutes or even the whole game. Showers just mean it isn't raining everywhere.
I See It But I Don't Believe It!!!!

Also, the Hawks seem to play their Grand Final last week.
Bit of over the top celebration.
+1. Of course they would be thrilled to get out of that game, but looked like GF celebrations to me too. Dodged a big bullet and go into the Grannie with all the expectation and pressure on them. 2008 indicates that expectation can be very heavy in the saddlebags.

Bit sick of the conjecture about the Fri / Sat prelims and how the Hawks have a big disadvantage because of that.

Maybe there is a tiny disadvantage to every interstate team having to play the final in Melbourne where they are not only away from home, but a huge percentage of seats are taken up by MCG members who will largely follow Melbourne teams - so we will be outnumbered in support.

I'm an mcc member and plan to line up for a seat Friday night/ Saturday morning. Is there anyone else planning to do the same.

Likewise. That said, in this brief article, Demitriou mentions the situation with NRL at ANZ, then the last sentence is:

He said the redeveloped 50,000-seat SCG would prevent such an occurrence in the future.
Signalling an end to finals at ANZ when the contract is up?

                  No did that in 2005 (3:30am) and 2006 (6am).
I'm a reserve member so have no access to the GF yet.

Good luck getting a decent seat.

                    I think this is hilarious.
                    Well done.
Gotta love the dedication at Grand Final time.

Why you want the Swans to win

                      Finally.
                      Some sense.

Just checked to see if anyone else had asked are we there yet! And yes Annie has chipped in for me.

One good thing about the Grand Final in the wet is that the perennial seagull problem would probably not be an issue (???)
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

I bloody hope they've got the eagle or whatever it is on the roof.
I was at the hawks v swans prelim when the gulls were particularly bad, and a guy 2 rows in front of me (who was a swans supporter) got crapped on his face. Made things even worse for him when we lost. And I was paranoid the rest of the night thinking it would happen to me.

Pyke is playing, otherwise they have burned his Mum and In Laws on their flights down from Canada (swans Website article)

Or its a Horse funded slight of hand to the Hawks....
