If Roos wanted the Carlton job, he easily could have had it. It makes you think what a great coaching group came out of the 2005 GF year. It produced Roos, Lyon and Longmire, the 3 best coaches going around in the AFL.

How fitting he got coach of the year, yesterday's effort was brilliant, considering the injury issues....fantastic effort from the Horse. have dissected some TV viewing already, some telling shifts and moves, I thought he was a good coach but now I think he's a truly great coach.

At the Swans Lakeside meet and greet he quietly moved away and left the players to soak it all up.

        A good General.

I thanked him and told him this morning that he wasn't the only one who was "HO(A)RSE".

              Bless his little heart.
I gave him a big hug and kiss at the after party and thanked him most profusely.
              Top bloke.

The horse. What a man. Loved the dedication to his mum, beautiful.

Will he be on On The Couch tonight? They generally get the Premiership coach on.

Given in Roos' successful era he had Longmire sitting to his left and Lyon sitting to his right, these clubs rumoured to be prepared to give Roosy millions to come out of retirement better be sure they are getting the genius they think they are getting. He was and is a great people person, but he obviously had two GREAT football minds at his flanks.

                      Food for thought?

Apparently when asked about how it felt to win a premiership after only two years he replied "I can't understand why it took Roosy so long."

Just saw him OTC. We have a very good coach and person at the helm. Hope he hangs around for a long time.

Love the footage of him in the box as the siren goes. Just screaming " yes! Yes!!!" and going nuts. Reminds me of me at the game screaming " we did it! We did it!" over and over in disbelief. It just came out like I had no control over it. I have never experienced anything like that before. Where pure joy and elation completely overtakes you. Such a great feeling!
