Love it. Bring it on Sheeds.

    What a friggen tosser.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

I'm certainly glad that relinquishing your sense of humour wasn't a requirement for the level of membership I opted for.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Sorry Stell, I didn't find it funny at all, and I have one of the best sense of humour's going around.
          It's sarcastic drivel.

"We beat you in the ansett cup".

Enjoy that win Sheeds... don't you know we don't care about the ansett cup.

Hope I bump into him on Saturday so I can tell him this face to face.

Ummmm... Annie sweetie... That's exactly the point of the letter. It was a gentle dig (among a whole lot of admiration for the Swans) aimed at our supporters to get them to come to the game and fire up. Your reaction is exactly what he wanted.

He's a terrific ambassador for the game here and whether you love him or hate him he gets people talking and if they're talking about our great game in a state dominated by the NRL I can only think that's a good thing.

I'm with you Matt, he's great for the game and great for footy in Sydney.
I thought it was a terrific letter, wished they had used it as a newspaper advert.

I love the assumption that he actually sat down and typed up the letter in the first place...

Sheeds is a legend - and he is always a tongue in cheek kind of bloke - he has job to do for GWS- and he's doing a bloody good job. And at the end of the day more people know of Sheeds than they do of our Longmire
Sheeds passion for AFL can never be questioned.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I quite liked it. A few annoyed people is probably just what he's aiming for.

I had a chuckle. I doubt he actually wrote it himself, but it's funny.

If you can't win, you might as well have a laugh

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
