pick 28 in the 2009 draft

    Mitch Duncan - GEELONGCATS.com.au

just trying to remember why pick 28 in the 2009 draft was significant - every time I watch Mitch Duncan play i think to myself he would be a seriously handy player and I had a feeling we gave away pick 28 for a certain trade ? was it Seaby ?

I also had a feeling that Lambie may take a similar path in development to Mitch ie from small forward to midfielder

Meh don't see the point bringing this up. It was a typical win win trade.

Luke Bruest was the young forward/mid we should be cursing ourselves over from that game, not Duncan.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
