    Bob Skilton in Hospital

On Nine News tonight there was an article about Bob Skilton being hospitalised for a while due to an infection, that has been hard to get rid of.
He is struggling to walk and requires the use of a walking frame ATM.
Hopes to be walking again without aid by the end of the year.

    Best of luck Champ!!

Wishing him all the best and hoping he has a speedy recovery.

Met him after the GF Dinner at the taxi rank last year. Such a humble man!

I have a million marvellous memories of Grand Final Day 2012 but one of the most meaningful ones for me was watching The Champ hand over the cup to Horse and Macca.

        Get well soon Bobby!

Lovely generous bloke, and posed with me on either side of the Cup.
              Get well soon Bobby.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

There are so many people who adore this bloke, its amazing. Easy to see why when you meet him. Always has time for everyone he comes into contact with.

Sam Newman sent his best wishes on the Footy Show last night as well.

He said it was complications post surgery.

Speedy recovery to a Club hero and gentleman.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Geez it's a more dramatic week than usual.

                      Club legend is in hospital.
                      President announces his retirement.
                      Mumford goes on a "bender".
