    Sammy Reid swap for Heath Shaw??????????

    WOW!!! I was listening to 6PR Sports radio talkback today in Perth with Brad Hardy. He came out with a bombshell rumor that the Swans and Collingwood are working on a swap......Sam Reid for Heath Shaw.( A brother swap).

    Anyone any wiser than me??

      Yes. People who totally ignore that rumour for being the time-filling crap that it is are wiser than you.

          That is a baffling, baffling rumour.

          Sounds like a load of tripe to me. Reidy just signed a 5 year deal, and Shaw isn't going anywhere.
          LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

              That would be terrible, seeing how Reid is heaps younger and going to be a gun (no doubt).
              Also, how many years does he have left in his contract? Anyone know?

                                      Brad Hardie!!!!!! A serious tosser. You would even think that he would think this one through before he blabbed it. But I guess that's journos for you given that the one newspaper gives saturation coverage to the 2 home clubs. Imagine Collingwood trying to fit 3 years of Sam's salary into their cap. There is no doubt that the signs are there of a Pies slide down the ladder which is why such a rumour would arise. More chance of Ben Reid coming to us.
