    AFL App help / stream

OK, so after 5 (yes 5 - F.I.V.E.) hours of my time being wasted being redirected over the phone, and including 1 1/2 hours at the Telstra shop and 1/2 an hour on live chat in the complaints section, I am defaulting here for any help.

    My problem is simple.

    I have a $50 Season Pass Voucher.
    The voucher has been validated.
All I want to do is enter the voucher in my Telstra iPhone

    Instructions...

    1. Press BigPond, the Sport
    2. Select AFL
    3. Enter Voucher

This is where it breaks down. There is no 3.

Nor is there any way of entering the voucher on the AFL app (which was deleted and redownloaded today to make sure it is up to date)

Nobody knows how to redeem the voucher.
No-one in the telstra shop, no-one on the phone, and no-one in the help section.

Has anyone had this issue and found a resolution?

Failing that, anyone have a link for a live stream?

I am pretty pissd off right now.
Something so damn basic that should be easy to solve....

this is probably nonsense but i was under the impression you needed to be a Telstra customer (ie have a contract) access the live stream, and even then you have to pay for a season or monthly pass on top of it.

and by the way, Telstra have the absolute worst customer help service. They just pass the buck to "the appropriate person" when they can't answer your question, and this can go through 5-6 people who each have as little idea as the person before.

I was trying to cancel my TVN Racing subscription, and I spent nearly 3 hours getting buck-passed until someone finally assured me that they cancelled my subscription, only to later find that I was still getting charged and had to go through it all over again. (I actually had more success contacting Apple who finally fixed my problem for me by banning them from auto-renewing).

So yeah, 5 hours. Wow. But sadly i'm not surprised

I have a contract and have paid for the season pass.
Only problem is entering the voucher number of that pass into my phone.

Like I said, a good percentage of my phone calls are either trying to convince the Telstra person that AFL is NOT ADSL (Indian call centre person) or trying to them to understand that my season pass voucher is not a recharge voucher and that I have a business plan already for my phone.

I'll be contacting the AFL and have them look into it.

BTW, I got to see the game regardless which was awesome

You don't need to be a telstra customer.
I subscribed to the AFL app.
The only difference is that telstra customers get their 3g free, I don't.
But then I only use it on wireless so it doesn't matter.
