    Dale Lewis on Open Mike

Dale is on tonight. One of my favorite Swans!
Everyone remembers the point against Essendon and before that the goal by Cressa, but we were 2 goals down and it was Lewie's goal that started the fightback.
    Should be a great show.

Mike Sheehan a muppet? LOL that's funny....

Really interesting interview - just watching it now - always had fond memories of Dale...... Interesting too to think how this story would have exploded in today's world of social media overload...

Are you referring to the original story in 2002, with Robbo?

Or are you referring to the guy who wrote on Footy for 36 years and is in the AFL hall of fame?

Thought Dale came across really well, he could well feel entitled to smugly say "told yers" but to his credit he doesn't seem liek that type of bloke.

He was always a player I found incredibly frustrating, indeed he was the first player I remember loving to bag, a proud line followed by Ben Matthews, Nick Davis and now Rhyce Shaw.

Didn't realise you followed the Giants so closely.

I wish we had to Heath in our team to bag instead of Rhyce.

Inconsistent but an absolute gun on his day. A game against the Crows at Footy Park in the mid 90s (1995?) sticks in my mind. We won and Lewie was everywhere.

                    Enjoyed the interview.

Yeah I also have vague memories of that one...He kicked 3 or 4 goals(I think), to go with plenty of classy possessions.

Also from memory....Plugger had a rare quiet day...About 3 goals.

Lewis was a complete dill as a kick and truly dumb in his decision making. But by God he did some great things on the field and was a marvel as an all rounder and supporter to Paul Kelly et al.

Were you watching the same bloke? He was one of the better kicks I have seen in my 35 years of supporting the Swans

Dale was a laid back guy, on and off the field. It was a good interview I thought. Dale could well have just sat there poking his tongue out and giving the bird to everyone
