liz the club does have the original, and our Chairman has one of the pictures also hanging in the reception of his day job office, and it looks like the reception area was built for the picture. Its gorgeous. He posted a photo on twitter...If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Didn’t know where to post this so hopefully this is alright.
Basically, one of my good friends recently lost their daughter to a rare disease called Vanishing White Matter. They have been funding research for years and despite losing the battle with their own daughter, the fight continues.
Anyway, they are auctioning off a signed Adam Goodes jersey through Facebook. If you’re interested in an awesome Xmas gift for someone (or yourself) have a look here:

Adam never lost his reputation. He is and always will be considered a great of the game. If anyone, it's the AFL and McGuire who need to rebuild their reputations.Comment

Could we leave the chat about Eddie Maguire out of Goodsey's thread please? All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated, and well supported in logic and argument than others. -Douglas Adams, author (11 Mar 1952-2001)

He has to be offered, surely. Will he take it? I think so...as long as nobody from Collingwood past or present is allowed near him or his celebration."I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment

Agree with sharp9 that it's probably up to him.
If question of character impeded the inclusion/elevation of G.Ablett senior and Wayne Carey, then in the case of Adam Goodes - character considerations should hasten his inclusion/elevation.
Such integrity, humility and empathy, he makes me wish I was a better person.Comment

There is nothing in the comments and interviews he made last year around the release of the documentaries that suggests he wants anything to do with anything associated with the AFL (as opposed to the Swans) ever again in his life. In fact, he was quite clear about it.
I'd love to see him honoured; but it's his call and I'll be pleasantly surprised if he takes up the offer.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment
