Rnd 3 Match Day Thread Swans V GWS at the SCG 4.35pm.

Forecast says a warm 22 deg at 4pm with a little cloud. Swans $1.41 GWS $2.95.
A big welcome back to Benny McGlynn and a final farewell to Goodsy and Mike.
    Go Swannies!

With all due respect...not sure where you heard 16 degrees? Getting to 27 today, don't think it will drop to 16 by 4pm. Absolutely perfect, warm day for footy! Cannot wait!
    Swannies for life!

And to think we could have taken him as an 18 yo rookie, because the Giants passed on him in 2013. It would have been another steal, like we did with Harry C.

getting nervous for this one, giants are looking really quick and physical this year.

Except he wasn't really on anyone's radar because he was injured for most of that year.

You could look at every player drafted when they are older than 18 and say something similar but most of them haven't shown enough that that stage to warrant being drafted.

Maybe not on the national radar, but he did play a couple of NEAFL games in 2013 before he was injured, so he must have been known to us as a NSW player. But that was the year when we went ruck crazy and sighed Patrick Mitchell instead.

Pressure from both sides that quarter. Both backlines have been tested.

Stevie J is a tosser! Glad they gave it to him at qtr time. Laidler seems to be the stirrer in our side.

Is anyone else having trouble distinguishing the two teams on the tv? From a distance the red and orange look similar.

That dropped mark is inexcusable from Mitchell! Cost us a very important goal!

We are trying to do 15m passes in forward 50 with 30 players in there. Rubbish.
