Seeing how fans booed Daniel Talia (for the supposedly sharing of information with Michael against them last year) what treatment will Michael receive if and when he plays against them as they see Michael as the 'bad brother' in this scenario?
Michael Talia V's Doggies

Michael shouldn't receive anything, seeing that another player owned up to making the whole thing up. But why let the truth stand in the way of a chance to vent bile?
I like the Doggies and I think Beveridge is doing a great job with them, but he stuffed up that issue, damaged his list and improved ours in the process. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. Talia will get booed massively by the Doggies fans all game. Booing has been part of the game for like forever, especially when you perceive (wrongly of course) that an ex player had done the wrong thing by your club.
You could bet we'd be booing Talia if the positions were reversed. I'm not a fan of booing in general by I think there's a real risk of us becoming self-righteous about this. The Goodes issue wasn't the booing per se it was what was behind it, if that makes sense....Comment

Didn't hear any booing of Bird, which is a shame as I'm sure the skin colour card is being played with Jetta vs Bird booing.
The real difference: Bird was discarded and couldn't get a game, Jetta was required, but wanted out.
Simple. The difference between insanity and genius is measured only in success.Comment

Rookie Marcus Adams has had a much better year than Talia unfortunately (even when playing). I don't think they have missed Talia at all.Comment

Although Damien Barrett is a bit of a knob at times, he does get some things right in his 'Sliding Doors' musings. This weeks offering (on Beveridge)..."If.....it is supposedly disgusting to publicly question lopsided free-kick numbers.......we would have thought it was also that to refer one of your own players to the AFL for investigation without beforehand personally allowing a right of reply from the player himself." Spot on...Beveridge seems to be a great coach, but he does have a habit of opening his mouth before he has thought things through clearly, all in the name of 'sticking up for his club and his players', a la Eddie...Michael shouldn't receive anything, seeing that another player owned up to making the whole thing up. But why let the truth stand in the way of a chance to vent bile?

No surprise he is a former Hawk.
