    Giants Swans Derby Tickets

Hi all. If you are expecting to get walk up tickets for this game at Spotless I would reconsider your position. There just are not that many left. Best check now if you are definitely planning to go.

Ground holds 25,000? From crowd figures this year it looks like GWS attract 8-9,000 at best to their games, always seems to be goodly % of the crowd supporting the opposition.

So if tickets are running low, are we to assume Swans supporters have already bought 10,000+?

Do GWS give away a lot of tickets to get people to go to their games?

      Yes they do.
Plus there are multiple voucher sites advertising heavily discounted tickets for this game

It's pretty sad if we can't fill it with our own supporters.

We'll be fine, it will just be the day trippers and happy clappers on cheeseburger deals from a club that is run on no sense of financial viability that may see Swans fans missing out

Few, if any, swans supporters travel to homebush.

Which puzzles me somewhat. We'll be watching at the Riser after two walks and two trams, but if we lived in Sydney (as we used to) it would be a no-brainer. A venue with good food and decent beer - what more could you want?

Perhaps the punters are looking for a no-rainer?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Spotless doesnt have decent beer. Only ANZ did.

                    It does.
                    It comes from interstate.

I'd love to financially support and help out GWS by buying a ticket.... not.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Not so much Homebush, more ANZ.

It's ironic the best viewing ground in the AFL is about 2 Buddy drop punts distance away from the worst...

Geeze, I am not supporting GWS by going to Spotless, I am seeing an away game supporting the Swans! Whattha!!

Yes it is ironic re the grounds. its easier for me to reach Spotless than ANZ (physically). And there is a ressies game on beforehand.

                              Just bought my ticket.
There seemed to be plenty available.

Only been to the Showgrounds once, its an ok venue has a feel of a suburban ground about it. Seating is much better than ANZ.

Don't really care about giving money to the Giants, I want to watch the Swans play and will pay money to do that.
