Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

I was amused/irritated by a call to 3AW today from a Melbourne supporter embittered by what he described as the blatantly pro-Swans bias from BT last night. Tim Lane started to answer and then my radio cut out. Did anyone hear what he said? I'm assuming the answer was along the lines of "what effing rock do you live under you complete cretin, do you really think the Swans would have knobbled Roamin Brian the week before if they thought he was in their camp?" ..... but I didn't hear it. Did anyone?

I also tend to think that when something as filthy as Bugg's effort last night happens, you can't help but hope the team responsible loses, even in games where you are a neutral. I know the poetic justice of last night's win (accentuated by Bugg's overwhelming, dismal failure where it actually counts - as a player) made the win far sweeter than most. I suspect that even commentators would feel that to an extent. Anyhoo, curious to know what Tim said.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

Wouldn't let it bother you V and R, most supporters are one eyed and struggle to be objective. Sane people go a bit psycho when it comes to footy. Know I do sometimes. We got the four points. That'll do.

I watched it again. Ranga was standing in the goal square. The essenscum player was no where near the action.
Is there a rule that you can't drop to your knees with 18 seconds to go to watch someone kick a goal that makes your team lose by a point? I've checked the book... can't see it.

Was it BT on Friday night that said about Bugg's torn Guernsey... "he likes it, he really really likes it".
          That was a bit creepy.

Is it also BT that every time Jake Lloyd gets the ball, he goes ... Llllllllooooooooyd.
          Enough of that too.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Those two pieces of commentary made the coverage more entertaining for me. I loved it in fact. I could not stop laughing.

BT enhances my viewer experience and does a great job.

I didn't mind that comment, because I was thinking the exact same thing! He didn't change his guernsey for a long time

Taylor often makes little innuendoes like this when commentating. I find it completely harmless.
Maybe he's just bored, and decides to ham things up a bit with all the exaggerated pronunciations
of players names. I wouldn't read too much into it. Some of the banter he gets into with Richo is
                actually quite funny sometimes.

Have to agree. Some of the banter with Richo, Lingy and the Duck is very funny.

The producer has done a great job to put these guys together.

The reaction to "Roaming Brian" has been overblown from the Swans and Red and White. As a community we should be supporting guys who try and get interviews with a wider array of players and try and get off the cuff information.

Instead most people on here are supporting the Swans media manager and the suppression of Swans content.

I call for people to reconsider their position on "Roaming Brian".

Don't agree that it was an overreaction. If anything it was BT who cracked it and acted like a little kid because he didn't get his own way. He could have interviewed anyone he wanted but he made out he was banned.

+1. Some are just swans sheep.

Exactly. My enjoyment of the win over Essendon was in no way diminished by the fact that Taylor couldn't walk around the rooms asking dumb questions.
