Match Thread #AFL Round 23 Swans vs Hawthorn, SCG, Sat 25 Aug 7:25pm @sydneyswans #AFLSwansHawks

And so Round 23 comes around again.

Sydney Swans Vs Hawthorn - Match Centre - AFL.com.au

    2018 AFL Broadcast Guide - AFL.com.au

Very light rain across Sydney just now. Some heavier showers expected later, doesn't look like a deluge but it will be wet to an extent.

Track work, delays and a league game next door again so plan your transport accordingly.

Let's hope Buddy is good to go and if not, Ronke can repeat his breakout game

Losses by only 5 and 6 points in the last SCG Hawks encounters - I feel it's our turn this time.

The Swans are on a winning streak and there’s several busting to have a Brownlow type of game, so yes, they will take the Hawks in this one.
The H’s will have good games: Haywood, Heeney, Hanners, Hewett and Heath.

    Swans by 21 points.

One point might be a bit stressful. Looking fairly overcast at the moment, but if we need to win a scrappy, wet game then so be it.
Possibly getting ahead of myself but I have started looking at flights to Melbourne in two weeks time for the QF against Richmond.

          That's worth a red card!

Possibly. I am blaming too much time this arvo waiting around not doing much until it's time to leave for the SCG.....

Freo currently beating Pies. If it continues we would go 3rd with a win!

I don't think Freo can maintain that intensity but how good would it be if they could.

A couple of big outs with Buddy and Parker. Will be a fair effort to win tonight. Dawson and Fox in for anyone who didn't know already...

It is a moot point now, but I think you must have been looking at live stats - Buddy would have only needed 8 to tie with Jack.
