The new kick in rule makes this farcical. You just run one metre out and all of a sudden you have on average 5-10 disposals extra per game - massive for the half back flankers that typically take these kick ins.

Yep, that’s a joke and needs to change. No wonder Lloyd can get 35 touches and have a seemingly dirty game .

Agreed. Its even more farcical at the u16/18 junior rep levels where 20 plus disposals is not the norm and no matter what people will tell you , disposal numbers count (especially if you on the face of it are racking up say 20 disposals every game). A half back or back pocket suddenly can add say 6-7 disposals to their tally and an even game of 14 suddenly is above average at 21 .
