This is a forum and what makes it interesting is different opinions.Everyone is entitled to be critical on the keyboard or nobody would bother to read the forum. I have been a member since 1982 and this gives me no special knowledge just a longer historic perspective to get things wrong.
This game against North WAS the last opportunity for the coach to get his best team working together, not still trialing. The team , generally, played poorly with little coordination.
Don't misunderstand my view on Heeney. He has all the skills but is yet to live up to his promise to be a Bontempelli/Fyfe. McCartin? Yep, I too am hopeful and recognize his youth but he just does not do enough.

Agree on Heeney to a degree but way too harsh on McCartin. Just turned 20, will get way stronger, and will be a long term gun for us.

No wonder George was a bit off in the march v GWS and then didn't play v Norf. His newborn son Henry has been in NICU since birth and only just left hospital today. I think it was a total of 9 weeks.

My daughter was born at 32 weeks. Take it from me, these premmies are as tough as nails. I reckon if Henry plays footy, he will be the toughest nut going around - maybe a future father / son!

          Congrats George, Alice and Henry.

Saw that news on Facebook fantastic news for George and his little family - a bright spot in a rather depressing outlook at the moment.
