I happy to give them the benefit of the doubt while we wait to see what they do with the ruck position over the off season. If we go into next season with bloody Sinclair and Naismith then I agree criticism is warranted.
Next year, Sinclair should be the fourth option behind:
- recruit X
- Naismith
- Aliir.
Very interested to see what they do this week. If Amartey is out injured, but they don't bring Sinclair in, that could be a bit of a tell.
If Knoll has built up his fitness enough, after recovering from injury, then I wouldn't mind seeing how he goes. He definitely improved during last year's NEAFL and apparently he was flying during the preseason.
