    .......and it's a draw LOL!
It gave me a lot of joy to see deflated Hawks' players. Let's crush those Giants tomorrow.

I would be happy with a 1-point win. It would be their second 1-point loss in a row.

Those who have the greatest power to hurt us are those we love.

Interesting. They won the free kick count 22 - 15.

You see how little value teams like norf are to the comp. They spent years trying to build a fan base on the Gold Coast, and today playing a big club that goes there 1 every 2 years or so, that big club draws far bigger crowd.

Its not a even 18 clubs contributing, it's 5 or 6 with all the value, and the rest very minor players.

Is that really any different to any other competition?

No, and other competitions have ways of purging those teams which arent adding value.
In european soccer, its a relegation system back to minor leagues.
In US sports, its owners moving teams to more lucrative markets, and going all-in, in the new area.

I cant understand why the AFL doesnt do either of those. The impact to the competition would be at worst minor, and at best (if relocation worked out) a net benefit.
Its all nostalgia for the old VFL comp, that keeps them in. It doesnt make business sense.

Yep, and the AFL actually did something. They committed all-in to the Sydney market, and they have reaped the rewards ever since.
