Ronke in, while keeping Bell, suggests more time for Heeney in the midfield.

I’m excited to see Ronke have a run. I hope he does well.

I'll be surprised if we re-sign all of the above mentioned.

I'd be surprised if we didn't to be honest.
Hewett attracted no interest on the open market last year, so will probably get a cheaper reduced contract (currently one of our top 10).
Gould and Stephens won't be high demand either, should be cheap 1-2 year deals.
Dawson will be a big and long deal.

I can’t see why Stephens would commit to the Swans. He gave everything last week and seems to get more harshly treated compared to other players. He never does a lot wrong and never gets two games in a row to build his confidence.

Stephens must ponder why Bell, Rowbottom and now the one hit wonder Ronke are ahead of him.

I am too ..I’ve liked what I’ve seen of him since he’s come back from the long term injury..
I feel like in the vfl he’s been playing a little more on the ball so he and Bell could possibly also go through the midfield a little more

I'm sure he gets pretty clear feedback from the coaches and knows where he stands, and what he needs to work on. This isn't school sport.

My preference is to be seated centrally so you can see the action across the field but I know a lot of people like to be behind the goals.
That would be great if you could change ends after each quarter like you can at local footy ????
It used to be possible in the AFL.

I loved the freedom that you used to have to roam around AFL grounds. In the early 90s you could even do this at the SCG. Western Oval didn’t have too much going for it, but if you could watch Plugger up close wherever he went it would certainly be worth the price of admission. This was really the only reason I liked going to Waverley - you could sit where you liked there too.

I was at Whitten (Western) Oval the day Plugger kicked 16 goals against Fitzroy. The idea of the crowd shifting from one end to the other each quarter was new to me. And fun!

I hope that Longmire assigns George to Fyfe, last game his move on ball won them the game.
