          That is a great article with some seriously good analysis involved. Puts to shame much of the crap put out by the footy focused media outlets out there.

            Thanks for that. I do like an article that makes well reasoned arguments and then uses appropriate stats to back up those arguments.

              Yes, I do like that they pointed out that we were trying to playing attacking and open football last year, instead of the cliche that we suddenly discovered attacking football this year, after being a turgid defensive minded unit last season. I think a better description, is that we tried to play attacking football last year, but mainly due to a high injury toll, we just wasn't very good at it.

                Very good isn't it. Those guys were involved with the Footballistics book and have regular features at the ABC site. Alway worth reading, and following on Twitter if that's your thing.
