Very sad news indeed - RIP Marion, and all our love to all the Skilton family at this time
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

So sorry to hear that- condolences to Bob and family. We’ve lost a legend just a few days before the Skilton Medal.

I feel for Bobby....and hope the club gets around him in any way they can considering the current circumstances.

Avoided this joint last few days , disappointed in the outcome from the weekend and knew the material that would be on here . here to say how bloody awful i feel for Bobby . Have met the man a great number of times and Marion was there on a few occasions , seemed a wonderful lady and we know Bob wouldn't go for anyone but the best . Having lost my wife last year he would be feeling very lonely , its hard to describe the feeling . I am not as old as Bob but that sense that your time is up and there isn't much light at the end of the tunnel is only heightened when you lose the person who was by your side through it all . Hope his family and the club can get around him and he is finding ways to cope in what are rotten times

Heartfelt condolences to our legend, Bobby. This is an extremely sad time for him, his family and all Bloods.

It's some comfort to know that our magnificent club will do everything it can to support our champion during this extremely tough time.

            Love you, Bobby!
