Kinda Swans (Swansea Swans) related ... with crowds back next year anyone need a new t-shirt?
Might be fun to wear against Brisbane?.....perfect.

I'm not against him having it if the club have deemed him worthy.....but I would have thought it might have been rested a bit longer. Let's hope he embraces it and does it proud.Comment

Yes I tend to agree I think that the number 37 holds a special significance for Swans supporters and should be assigned accordingly.
You would think that wearing it also has a little psychological pressure attached as well.
Having said that if he has half the career that Adam had I think we as supporters would be quite happy.Comment

I have found an interesting pattern with the player numbers.
2, 15: players promoted to lower numbers.
19: player traded in.
29: first player drafted.
34: second player drafted.
37: third player drafted.
41: fourth player drafted.
Last year's recruits:
6: first player drafted. (McDonald)
16: second player drafted. (Campbell)
21: third player drafted. (Gulden)
31: player traded in. (Hickey)
33: rookie. (Sheather)
36: player promoted to lower number (Amartey)
40: rookie. (Carruthers)
So players drafted appear to be assigned vacant numbers in the same order they are drafted."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

Is this true? Warner, Stephens, Gould & Taylor from our 2019 certainly weren't given numbers in their draft order..
Similar with 2018 : Rowbottom, Foot, Blakey, McInerney definitely weren't drafted in that order..Comment

Mmm
I’m curious as to what the Swans are doing here. There are two numbers that deserve special reverence in our time in Sydney - 14 and 37.
Kelly took on Skilton’s number, and it has at least now got a theme to it, with NSW players in Bird and Mills following Kel.
I’m not sure now what the plan with 37 is. I get ET didn’t work out but that’s no reason to ditch any semblance of a plan for 37. And none of this is a knock on Corey. He’s been gifted something special.
I think our club massively falls in favour of benefit of the doubt for all it gets right and maybe there was a quiet conversation with Adam as to what he wanted (or given his attitude to footy, isn’t worried about). But I’m struggling with this one.'Delicious' is a fun word to sayComment
