Unfortunately, nothing on former reserves and assistant coaches/runners.
Thanks stevo - yes I use those resources regularly.

You might be right there 111431 as he retired mid 70s and, if I recall correctly, he served in a variety of roles including assistant coach, ressies coach (not sure what year though), selector, runner. Not sure specifically about 1980 though.
Franklin rings a bell. Reserves may have made finals around that time IIRC
Franklin, Greg Miller and Ricky Quade relocated to Sydney with much of the team when South Melbourne moved up there at the end of the 1981 season. Hence, it makes sense he was probably Reserves coach in 1980. Ian Stewart was our final coach as South Melbourne.
P.S. I do not think there is any known video footage of our last game at the Lake Oval in 1981. Apparently, the team ran onto the ground to be confronted with an all black banner. It must have been an emotional day for all of those players and fans that day. Screenshot_20220721-191807_Samsung Internet.jpg
Just googled Swans coaches. Couldn't find the Reserves Coach but looking at the list of coaches in the history of the club, the worst by far on win/loss was.....drum roll....the one and only Gary Buckerina. We went downhill when they sacked Tom Hafey and appointed Col Kinnear in 1989. Turned a very good team into a crap team then when he went back to Carlton took Greg "show me the money" Williams with him. Buckerina had 3 wins and a draw from 21 games.
My brother suggested Neville Stibbard as the 1980 Reserves Coach.
