We need to win by about 10 goals to close the gap on Brisbane's percentage, eg: 120-56.

      I wish!

Resting players last week showed that this game is a big deal for GWS, in a season they'd rather forget. With their significant ins, this is more 50/50 than people think

I noticed that also. Likely they are fielding their best team for the year. Great timing.

Largely depends on which version of our team shows up. So far this year the Giants have beaten the Crows, Eagles, Hawks, North and the Suns. The Suns win was a home match early in the season while the Suns were still deciding whether or not to be a decent team this year. They've been reasonably competitive against a couple of top teams, losing by about two goals to Collingwood (though put that in context of the rest of the Pies' margins), Brisbane (first encounter) and the Saints. Most of their losing margins have been very comfortable and some decisive.

Sure, they'll come out firing today and may well match our guys in the first half. But if the Swans play close to how they did against the Dees, Dockers etc, they will win comfortably enough. If they don't, anything's possible. And it's certainly not certain that our guys will bring their best.

Fitness seems it might be an issue with the Giants. They have been competitive in the first half of many games but have then faded badly in the second half.

That does bode well for us as we are one of the top few teams in second half point differentials. A good start by us so we don’t have to overrun them from behind would be great.

Unsurprising, JPK is sub. The Giants’ choice of Keeffe less understandable. Coniglio is a late out for the Giants.

I hope Warner isn't affected by the off field situation with the leaked photos, but I understand if he is.

There were naked photos and videos of Warner posted yesterday. They are from a couple of years ago. He has done nothing wrong but a big lesson learned.

The swans released a statement saying that the images have been circulating without Chad's consent and that we are working with the e-safety commissioner to stop further spread of the images.

Well, that was certainly beyond my expectations. Thought they would be well and truly up for this game. With so many ins, it felt like they’d fade (as they’ve done all year) - but didn’t expect them to roll over so early.

Fabulous effort from pretty much everyone today.

John Ralph OTC tonight explained the GWS cap problem - it could be a million over in next couple of years. Kelly moving up to $1.2mill and Haynes on $800k!

Prepared to offload an excess of inside mids, the names we've been hearing Taranto, Hopper plus wantaways Bruhn, Hill
