Two extraordinary and eloquently passionate Swans - what a week!

Same. Got all those mentioned and have loved them all. A sad loss for the Swans family.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

I echo the comments about his books on the Swans. I would add that he also produced a brilliant encyclopaedia of all players to play in the VFL/AFL. There were several editions of this and it included little narratives on many of the players (from all clubs) written by him. He clearly loved the game!

I got to know Jim through work, he'd written a mystery novel, and despite our decision not to publish he forgave a fellow Swans tragic. Had several very long conversation/arguements on various aspects of red and white history. Very sad.
