Could it be that Reid comes in next week. A way better option than Amartey.

I was the 1st one to retire Reid but I'd back him after 2 yrs off and a destroyed body to do more than Amartey atm

I’d be Hapoy to trial Hamling he competes and has a ground game over Amartey at the moment. (Reid would be great but 2 games back isn’t enough fitness work for him)

While I think of it, these are the coaches votes for the previous game. Francis is doing well of late.

          10 Aaron Francis (SYD)
          5 Seb Ross (SAN)
          4 Jake Bartholomaeus (SYD)
          4 Tom Campbell (SAN)
          4 Joel Hamling (SYD)
          2 Jaiden Magor (SYD)
          1 Corey Warner (SYD)

Team for the match currently taking place against North. The big news is that Parker is out, but Wicks is playing, so that probably means that Parker is playing AFL

            B: W. Green (45), W. Edwards (28), C. Vickery (25)
            HB: H. Arnold (38), J. Hamling (29), J. Magor (32)
            C: C. Cleary (33), A. Sheldrick (12), Cor. Warner (37)
            HF: I. Kirk (31), S. Reid (20), A. Francis (10)
            F: T. Hanily (40), L. McAndrew (46), S. Wicks (15)
            R: P. Ladhams (19), L. Parker (26), C. Mitchell (35)
            INT: M. Lloyd (54), B. Edwards (50), J. Bartholomaeus (53), Ham. Morrison (62), K. Grass (66)*
            EMG: B. Ashley-Cooper (51), B. Laws (64), J. Tidemann (65), J. Lugsdin (67), W. Smit (59)

From those emergencies, Smit comes in.

Does anyone know what's wrong with Snell? He was an AFL emergency a few weeks ago and has disappeared off the face of the earth, not even featuring on our injury list (surprise, surprise...).

North well on top in that quarter to lead 25-9, but they probably had the wind. I think a fair bit of our problems stemmed from Ladhams in the ruck. His opponent, Free, got plenty of taps straight to North mids and got a couple of clearances himself. When Ladhams tapped it, it also tended to go straight to a North mid.

He did his hamstring at training last Friday week. Not sure of the severity.

What’s wrong with Francis ! That was a dirty act and tried to strangle the guy remonstrating with him , double 50 as well - well he won’t be playing for a while

There’s a pretty strong breeze blowing, which partly (but not entirely) explains the Q1 scoreboard.

Warner might be in the running for behind of the season after running the length of the ground, three involvements in the chain, but then fluffing the final kick.

That was hard to watch, hope we find something in the second I wonder if the Heeney decision has had any impact on them mentally as they look off and Francis has had the angry pills ????

That was more like 5 goals into the breeze back to 2 goals - it’s funny none of our small guys have had big games and the co dictions you would think favour that - you can see Reid is starting to work his way back into form. Looking foward to a big last quarter

Better effort to kick five goals to four against the wind. Which gives us some sort of chance of running over the top of them in the last. I'm not entirely optimistic, but at least we looked a bit more cohesive in that quarter. It looks like Wicks has now been held over as the AFL emergency.

Three goals to Hanily. I wonder what Konstanty watching on is thinking?

Tough on the boys that result. North got plenty of calls go their way at big moments in that last quarter.
