I thought it was a very poor quality game, with lots of kicking to contests and turnovers. That goes for both sides.
It was the worst game I've seen from Will Green for a while, and Konstanty was just awful. He was probably the worst of our listed players. His kicking was so poor. Such a disappointment for our top draft pick from a couple of years back.
The vets, in Reid, Francis and Hamling were solid. Magor, Warner and Vickery were okay in a side that had trouble moving the ball effectively most of the game.
I hate these games which are hard to draw much enlightenment from.Leave a comment:

Enjoyable game although we did our best to lose it, but good team effort, Reid and Hamling looked good together and the only standout today was Francis who was outstanding all day.Leave a comment:

Nice goal by Ben Edwards, who kept on charging after the ball until someone eventually hit him high.Leave a comment:

Better quarter by the zebras who put a lot more pressure on that quarter.
Will Edwards had a good quarter, to be honest the pressure of the zebras really hurt our skills level. And Moi moi I can see why he didn’t get a game with the zebras last year he’s a shocker.
Not sure what to make of CC or CW maybe they have a future wait and see approach, Greene has struggled to have any impactLeave a comment:

Strong finish to the second quarter. Reid and Hamiling both providing strong contests, Francis wish he could play like this in the 1s hes just a level above anyone else on the ground.
Magor ans Warner had good quarters as wellLeave a comment:

Good start - better conditions this week lol
Reid looking good early, Francis usual VFL self
Warmers disposal lets him down and Konstanty has also started strong I hope he re-signs surely could make his debut second half of the yearLeave a comment:

Ladhams form this year has been ordinary at best I had big hopes for him when he first arrived.Leave a comment:

Unless money is an issue are we really in need of freeing up a list spot ?
We have played the least and have about 10 who would be in front of a pick in the 40s.Leave a comment:

I wouldn't care much about what we get for him. I think it's worth just to get him off our books and free up a list spot. That said, I think we could get a pick in the 40s for him. He's really not a bad player and could work out well at a club like Geelong.Leave a comment:

Not sure where exactly Green is at but given his age, id say a while off.
Ladhams has no trade value, the only benefit in him leaving would be him getting games elsewhere.
3rd round upgrade at best. Clearly I'd like to see him stay.Leave a comment:

Ludwig I was thinking the exactly the same thing although they may hold him to his last year if they feel Green isnt quite ready.Leave a comment:
