The availability of Francis does not lift my spirits all that much.

The coaches votes from the North game. Francis is again our top vote getter. And he wasn't mentioned in the weekly VFL charge sheet, so I assume that means he wasn't suspended or fined.

    10 Jack Watkins (NM)
    5 Robert Hansen Jr (NM)
    4 Zac Fisher (NM)
    4 Aaron Francis (SYD)
    3 Sam Reid (SYD)
    2 Hugh Greenwood (NM)
    2 Cooper Vickery (SYD)

Vickery has been quite good of late and is showing a bit more flair than he used to.

agree and there is an energy about Hanily

    Good value role pick up

    He looks keen as mustard

It was Caleb Mitchell who I thought did the right thing coming in to spoil. Not sure if he lost his bearings or mis punched it but it went right to Harvey’s advatange. I’m also surprised we didn’t have a goalkeeper given the state of the game.

Hanily is settling in well and improving every week. I think he’s mostly played TAC Cup (as an over ager) before we drafted him so he’s done well to adjust to the level in a relatively short time.

Tough on the boys that result. North got plenty of calls go their way at big moments in that last quarter.

Better effort to kick five goals to four against the wind. Which gives us some sort of chance of running over the top of them in the last. I'm not entirely optimistic, but at least we looked a bit more cohesive in that quarter. It looks like Wicks has now been held over as the AFL emergency.

That was more like 5 goals into the breeze back to 2 goals - it’s funny none of our small guys have had big games and the co dictions you would think favour that - you can see Reid is starting to work his way back into form. Looking foward to a big last quarter
