Apparently Don Pyke was seen having coffee with Dean Cox & Brett Kirk in Albert Park (Melbourne) last Sunday, 48 hours before Simpson's sacking. This was reported on The Midweek Tackle last night. Don has allegedly informed it was just a innocent catchup & not sounding out Cox.
