yeah, I managed to get that last year, in Bondi even. I'd say as long as your suburb is relatively high (geographically) you could pick it up if your place has an outdoor antenna.

Pay TV in Sydney is showing the game at 9:30. I think Norris Lurker is a bit miffed that I'm getting a better coverage for free than he's paying for.

I live in Newtown. Sydney TV is as fuzzy as anything.

Is it external? Or rabbit ears?

For Wollongong you would need an aerial pointing a bit east of south. I know people in Warriewood & Palm Beach (northern beaches) that can get a good picture from Wollongong

Arrrggghhhh!!! I didn't know that!! I switched on Fox Footy, got a shot of Dermot Brereton's mullet as they smashed the Swans in an old 80s final and turned it off. Sob!

Was actually a re-broadcast of Ch 10 Melbourne. So unlike most Friday night Fox Footy coverage, there was the Ch 10 logo, the ads between goals and everything else.

Wollongong is ALL we can get normally! On a good day we can get ch10 and 9 from Sydney, but normally we resort to wollongong tv and those ads from hell!

Wish we could get Canberra tv tho to get the footy!

Channel 10 do it again

Saturday Nights game is down for 9.40pm a delay of 2hours and 10minutes. The AFL and 10 have absolutly no regard for AFL fans in Sydney. I can understand home and away matches being delayed but no finals, this is disgusting.

Which has just dawned on me as to why the GF won't chage to night time, until a TV contract is signed guaranteeing LIVE national coverage!

Just because Sydney are out of the finals dosen't mean that Sydney people don't care about AFL.

The ratings are barely good for games involving Sydney!

Think 9.30 is the best we can hope for (even that timeslot will get belted)...in saying that though, the AFL should have stipulated that where a game is shown live on Free-to-Air to most of Australia, but not to Sydney, Fox Footy should be able to show it live to Sydney.

I can truly understand Ten not wanting to show Port V St.Kilda on a Friday night to Sydney, commerical suicide, but Fox Footy should then be able to take it off them. Could only help AFL in Sydney IMO.

Thank god I can get Wollongong Ten though Has saved me so far this finals series.
