I picked them as my team simply from the WAFL results in the 'Hobart Mercury' about 20 years ago, so I am very happy for them and their hardcore fan base!

Great crowd for it today too. Glad Fox Footy showed it. Great to see local footy doing well.

omg HOW DUMB AM i ONLY FOUND THIS POST NOW.yAY.....omg my first flag ive ever one witha team, parramatta eels failed me, swans are coming close, and the razorbacks well maybe next decade, but yes ohh it feels good, and for the drunkness im only 15 almost 16 but as you said port1978 didnt stop me form finsishing my FIRST glass of champagne, havent quite devoloped a taste for any other alcholic liquid and its the first ever alcholic beverage i had, o no im not the sterotypical teenager , lol, and yes thanks JF next time your here in the west, me and port1978 are gonna drag you to a WAFL game, yes be scared you gotta see how pasisonate and rowdy we can get and her hubby and my Lil bro.....its the Subiaco Unofficial cheersquad

In hindsight I probably should have. But I thought there'd be Freo fans there who'd hassle me about the day before. Was kinda hung over and grumpy that day as well.

But it got worse; I was trapped in suburban Redcliffe all day. (Had an awful time in Perth that weekend to be honest)

Will have a look at a WAFL match next time for sure.

Apparently Mark Williams asked Nick Stevens on the Footy Show what he was doing this weekend.

The thing is, just like Akker, Port Adelaide are traditionally the type of team who can back their talk up.

(Still beating Glenelg or Centrals in an SANFL Granny is a tad easier than beating the 4-time Premier Lions with the world watching. )

Thanks, I can't wait till Saturday! Nah, James isn't coming with me. He would have liked to, and would have cheered on Port But it's costing enough just for me to go....
